Job Description

Are you an early career researcher looking for your first challenge?   Do you have a background in blood coagulation?  Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?

You will be working in a team, under the supervision of senior staff. This post will be primarily contributing towards the characterisation of small molecules and how they interfere in blood clot formation and fibrinolysis using a varied number of purified, plasma and whole blood based methodologies, including thrombin generation techniques, fibrin clot formation and lysis including turbidimetric assays, laser scanning confocal microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and ROTEM. You will be a member of a multidisciplinary team working towards novel drug discovery.
