Do you want to work in a busy university biological sciences facility? Do you have proven experience of working in a Customer Services, Goods-Inwards or Stores environment? 

You will be part of a team responsible for delivering a courteous, effective and professional service and ensuring the day-to-day function of the service and all goods that enter and leave the Faculty be correctly managed and accounted for.   

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with an ability to work as part of a team of technicians. Communicative, organised, flexible and committed, you will have a positive, proactive approach to your work. 

You will have good numeracy, verbal and written skills, with a minimum of Grade 4 GCSE’s in English and Maths or have demonstrable experience working in a Goods-In/Stores/Warehouse environment and the ability to work accurately with good attention to detail. 

You will be based in the faculty technical support team where our in-house experienced technicians will train you on all duties. Manual handling training will be provided as the position will include some lifting and manoeuvring of boxes, parcels and gas cylinders.
