Responsibilities
Scholarship - 80
The faculty will be engaged in the aging research (TRIBA initiative), develop several grant applications (R01 ), mentor graduate students/junior faculty, publish in high impact journals, facilitate on-site campus and off-campus collaborations.

Teaching - 10
The faculty will teach in the Interdisciplinary health sciences PhD and nutrition programs.

Service - 10
The faculty will take part in department, college and university level committees in the enhancement of scholarship, education, and research.

Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Publications in high impact journals, experience in grant applications.

Minimum Requirements
Educational Requirements
PhD from and accredited college or university in life sciences and motivation for high quality research in aging.

Required Experience
Background in biochemistry, molecular biology, inflammation, signal transduction, immunology and neurodegenerative diseases, and aging research.
