This position reports directly to CON Financial and Business Operations Analyst in the College of Nursing. This position is responsible to provide support and assistance to the CON Financial and Business Operations Analyst in the overall financial management for the College of Nursing including budget and financial review, effort reporting, maintaining foundation accounts, coordinating AUNA financial processes, and maintaining the PCard process.  In addition, this position will engage in leadership activities that support the Mission and Vision of the College. 

Responsibilities

 
The duties include, but are not limited to:
 
Budget and Financial Review:
Approve purchasing requisitions in Health eShop for CON. Approve and process IDRs, check requests, travel requests, travel expense statements, and other purchasing forms for CON while maintaining appropriate documentation electronically. Assist in development of Fiscal Year original budget for the College of Nursing. Assist with Financial Year End Closeout. Maintain funding by position, Assist departmental staff with monitoring and maintaining unit budgets. Assist with CON Business proposals as needed. Submit ECRH personnel report (monthly). Assist with development and maintenance of Standing Operating Procedures for CON Financial Services.
Foundation:
Process all check reimbursements. Process deposits as needed. Process scholarship awards from CON Academic and Student Affairs office.
 
AU Nursing Associates:
Invoicing of practice hours completed by faculty to contracted practice sites and tracking to ensure payments received. Review AUNA reports and financial data for reconciliations. Calculate quarterly income disbursement on practice group faculty. Review and process expense requests submitted. Assist with external audit processes. Provide ad hoc reports to board members and practicing faculty.
PCard:
Assist PCard Users with PCard processes to ensure compliance. Review/Approve PCard Pre-Authorization requests from card holders. Other duties as assigned - to include, but not limited to, providing financial support to GAHN.

Required Qualifications

 
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, or related field and relevant experience. OR Associate degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, or related field and three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

 
Experience in PeopleSoft Financials, PeopleSoft HRMS, QuickBooks, and/or Banner. Familiarity with Augusta University policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

 
Experience and knowledge in accounting practices/principle. Excellent customer service, office/telephone etiquette, verbal/written/electronic communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills. Proficient with Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently as well as with a group; make responsible professional decisions; exercise sound judgment; multitask, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Shift/Salary/Benefits

 
Shift: Days/ M-F
Pay Grade: 12
Salary Minimum: $15.06- $16.93 hourly. 
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position.

Conditions of Employment
