Job Description

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time tenure track Investigator at the rank of Professor. This position will have an emphasis on ovarian and uterine biology. The Reproductive Scientist will develop an ovarian/uterine biology program and apply for a P50 center grant. The successful candidate will be expected to establish and maintain an energetic, well-funded research program, engage in interdisciplinary and collaborative research, and teach graduate level courses.

The successful candidate will have completed a PhD from an accredited institution and will have outstanding academic qualifications and experience. Expertise in ovarian and uterine biology is preferred. Candidates interested in questions that can be translated to infertility, ovarian tissue preservation, ovarian aging and fertility preservation. Broad approaches including molecular, cellular biology, immunology, functional genomics, and/or epigenetic are encouraged.
