Job Overview

A Research Assistant position is available in the lab of Dr. Xiaoting Zhang in the Department of Cancer Biology, College of Medicine. The incumbent will assist with the coordination of laboratory projects or research studies in breast cancer treatment resistance and the development of RNA nanotherapeutics (https://med.uc.edu/zhanglab), makes independent contributions to projects and studies based on professional training or functional experience.
Essential Functions
Perform experiments and records data according to research protocols.
Interpret data and perform statistical and graphical analysis of data.
May assist in animal colony management and animal husbandry.

Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree.
Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
Additional related work experience may be required depending on field or discipline.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
