OU HSC is one of only four comprehensive academic health centers in the nation with seven professional colleges. We are looking for a Sr Data Collection Analyst to join our team! 

Duties:

  • Reviews, analyzes and evaluates data, making necessary corrections; provides written interpretation of data via reports. 
  • Updates and maintains databases for reporting purposes.
  • Creates surveys and analyzes the results.
  • Queries, collects, analyzes and edits data to generate reports.
  • Makes recommendations based on analysis of data regarding its use.
  • Identifies patterns in data for improvement opportunities.
  • Serves as a contact with internal and external customers.
  • Prepares presentations for meetings and conferences.
  • Develops goals, assigns and coordinates work projects.
  • Monitors task and reviews ongoing projects to ensure that goals are met.
  • Evaluates workload, capacity and compatibility of computer and/or programs used for data collection.
  • Performs related duties as assigned to successfully fulfill the function of the position.  
 

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: 24 months data collection and analysis.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months of related experience.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
  • Organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Advanced excel skills with ability to build and manipulate spreadsheets
  • Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions

Department Preferences:

  • Updates and maintains databases related to Interstitial Lung Disease, Pulmonary Hypertension and Bronchoscopic Lung Volume, as well as clinical trials in which the Pulmonary and Critical Care section is involved with.
  • Creates RedCap surveys related to Pulmonary research.
  • Analyses and edits data to generate reports from data bases that assist in Pulmonary and Critical Care research and publications.
  • Bachelor Degree or above in Public Health.
