Working as part of the University’s Student Education Service you will play a key role in the delivery and enhancement of our international student support and intercultural opportunity functions.  

Our International Student Office team works in partnership to provide arrival, orientation and transition support for international students, as well as engaging all students in activities that build a sense of belonging and offer intercultural experiences on campus and in the Leeds local community. Current activities include our popular Global Café, University Buddy Scheme, and Intercultural Ambassadors volunteering programme.

You will manage key components of the International Student Office’s ongoing services and activities, providing leadership and direction for the International Student Office team as well as working in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll also lead, shape, develop and deliver new initiatives and lead the team’s contributions to cross-institutional projects. Through all this work, you’ll contribute to strategically developing the University’s approach to international and intercultural student experience.  

Reporting to and deputising for the Head of International Student Office, with responsibility to the University’s Head of Student Support, you will work collaboratively with other stakeholders within and beyond the Student Education Service.
