Job Description

The Data Analyst Coordinator will report to the Division of Workforce & Economic Development (DWED) Executive Director and will serve as a member of the Executive Directors Leadership team.  The Analyst will be responsible for the development of a Data Analysis System that will track all DWED student enrollments, outcomes, and data reports as required by DWED grants, customize training, or other training programs.  The Analyst will track and complete all of the required data needed for the State ACESS/ABE/ESL programs, and Workforce training of students served by DWED.  The Analyst, Data Coordinator will supervise data staff and will conduct data reports as needed by DWED for new grants and customize training or continuing education needs. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in data collection, business management, or a related field from a regionally accredited college/university.

  • 2 to 3 years of related experience in data collection, and in submitting data reports.  Experience in data collection as needed for grant writing, customize training, and or continuing education data needs.

  • Knowledge of census data, or other data collection systems, and skills in completing grant data reports as required by funding sources. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field from a regionally accredited college/university.

  • Ability to evaluate business and industry customer needs.

  • Ability to actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media outlets.

  • Ability to set up meetings with potential clients and listening to their needs, desires, and concerns.

  • Ability to effectively and efficiently maintain client accounts.

  • Ability to adjust and make modifications in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to advocate effectively for the College’s programs and services locally and internationally.

  • Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to interact and show respect for a diverse population.

  • Ability to relate effectively with a wide diversity of constituents & stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of leadership, management, accountability techniques, and the ability to apply those techniques.

The minimum starting salary is $53,805.00 The successful candidate may be placed above the minimum of the range based on education and experience.
