Job Summary
The Department is seeking Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs) whose primary responsibility is to support the instructional mission of the University. At least 60% of the student’s responsibility as a teaching assistant must be devoted to the direct instruction of students, typically in a classroom or laboratory setting.

The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering Industrial and Systems Engineering program at Auburn is ABET accredited and has been granting degrees since 1932. The program is ranked in the top 25 percent of all Industrial Engineering programs in the most recent U.S. News & World Report and has a continued commitment to excellence.

Essential Functions
Grading homework and exams
Interacting with Students
Providing support to assigned professor
Maintaining weekly office hours for students needing assistance
Leading group study sessions
Teaching a class in the instructor’s absence
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled as an Auburn University graduate student
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Preferred Qualifications


Pay Rate $1,000-$1,500/monthly
Work Hours 12-20
