Job Description

**Only students who have completed this year’s FAFSA, have an approved Silver State Regents Service Program Application, and are enrolled in at least 6 eligible credits for the summer are eligible to apply**

The Department of Recruitment and College Connections is looking for Student Office Assistants who are interested in developing their communication, customer service, office and time management skills, which will be very helpful when applying for future internships or career opportunities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Answering and transferring calls on multi-line phone
  • Retrieving and responding to voicemails
  • Assisting walk-in students
  • Providing campus tours
  • Keeping the Recruitment Office neat and organized (e.g., filing documents)
  • Attending all scheduled events, meetings, and training sessions held in the N. Las Vegas, W. Charleston, and Henderson Campus
  • Additional duties as assigned
