Job Description


The purpose of this position is to supervise Student Services for The Adult Career Education Services (ACES) and Workplace English Ready Career (WERC) programs. The candidate will provide high-level support for the HSE, ESL, MyPath, and Integrated Education Training programs (IET). In addition, the candidate will assess student strengths and weaknesses in students: academic, career, and personal development by identifying factors that enhance or prevent academic progress, examine alternatives based on changing goals, academic progress, or personal situation, and guide students in establishing realistic academic and career goals. These goals include transfer or employment strategies and the development of an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) to support learning outcomes and onsite coordination with educational partners.

The ideal candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, and CSN data systems including LACES, Lumens, DRC Portal, etc.…
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet constant/multiple deadlines
  • Excellent in working in a team environment
  • Demonstrates sensitivity to and respect for multicultural and multi-lingual populations
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends and have the ability to travel to offsite locations
  • Proficient with the basic elements of research and report writing
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and materials selection
  • Knowledge of college services including Financial Aid, Admissions, Recruitment, and Retention,
  • Disability Resources, and the Division of Workforce and Economic Development

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited College or University and 1 to 2 years of related field experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited College or University

Starting Salary Range
Administrative Faculty B
$39,123- $52,165

*This position is funded by grant dollars and is contingent upon ongoing and available funding.
