Qualifications:

ACCTG 620.01 Financial and Managerial Accounting

Summer Quarter, 07/10/2023 – 09/16/2023. Meets in-person every Thursday Evening 7/13 – 9/14 from 6:00pm – 10:00pm.

Course Description:

This course focuses on the concepts and principles that underlie corporate financial statements prepared for external users, including the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement. The course also examines the internal use of accounting as management tool. Emphasis is on cost concept and analysis of cost variances. Topics include cost-volume-profit analysis, process and activity-based costing, cost allocation, budgeting and performance measures.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Master's or Ph.D. preferred in a relevant area of accounting discipline.

Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.

The salary range for this position is $7,447 -$10,008 dependent on qualifications.
