The Campus Card Project Manager supports the daily management of the one card system under the direction of the Associate Vice President of Purchasing and Auxiliary Services. The Campus Card Project Manager is specifically responsible for oversight of all one card production, service, and support. The position will be expected to learn and maintain databases and systems related to the one card program (e.g. Atrium, Active Directory integrations, etc.); assist with preparation of monthly reporting, invoicing, deposits, and journal entries pertaining to use of the one card; respond to student and staff requests; implement use of the one card with the College’s departments; participate in the planning of expanded use of the one card; issue physical or virtual cards; trouble shoot access issues; explore future use with existing College systems and programs; document processes and procedures; and ensure the overall integrity of the one card system.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or a related field from a from an accredited college or university; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 3-4 years related professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience with a One Card or Campus Card system.

The duties, knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the management of all one card processes including mobile credentialing, issuance of plastic cards, proper use of related equipment, providing reports, and coordinating implementation requests from college departments.

  • Support duties and responsibilities assigned to the Campus Card coordinator which includes maintaining all databases and systems related to the one card, leading new initiatives as they relate to the one card including the management and oversight of the system’s implementation, lost card replacement, and assessing the needs of the Atrium one card solution.

  • Process student, faculty, staff credentialing, and card issuance as requested. 

  • Generate and coordinate schedules for ID processing events. 

  • Assist with maintaining records, updating procedures, managing inventories of supplies, and scheduling maintenance of one card equipment. 

  • Assists College departments and external vendor partners with the integration of one card technology into their business processes which includes the implementation of card readers, invoicing, reporting, monitoring usage, and verifying data.

  • Assists with managing the one card relationship with vendor partners and serve as the primary contact, including problem resolution, payment operations, invoices and reports, and troubleshooting systems as needed.

  • Works collaboratively with college departments when the one card system intersects other disciplines (e.g. technology, access and controls, student affairs, faculty senate, etc.)  

  • Assists with the development and implementation of a comprehensive campus marketing and promotional strategies for the one card.

  • Responsible for coordinating project management and strategic discussions with internal partners including the Facilities Department, OTS, Student Affairs, Food Services, Financial Services, and Procurement.

  • Keeps up to date with trends in the campus card industry to ensure that the Atrium solution aligns with recent technology and smart card solutions.

  • Working knowledge of printing/copying and one card equipment.

  • Experience with these systems is preferred, but not required: database management, Atrium, mobile credentials, MS Office, Workday.

  • Ability to work with ethnically, culturally, and socially diverse students, staff, and faculty.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of equipment and one card related machine maintenance contracts.

  • Basic accounting skills.

  • Envisions and proposes new methods to perform tasks that support the College and the Division; takes thoughtful risks; and accepts new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.

  • Anticipates and embraces change; demonstrates willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.

Starting Salary Range

Administrative Faculty C

The minimum starting salary is $67,256. The successful candidate may be placed above the minimum based on education and experience.
