The College of Professional and Continuing Studies is seeking a Registration Clerk to join our team.  This position is a primary contact for conference registration that includes OLLI, Mini College, ACT Prep, OACUBO etc. Staff member is responsible for registering individuals for conferences and taking their payment for conferences. In addition, this position ensures materials (name badges, sign-in sheets, credit card machines, etc.) are ready for conferences and provides on-site registration assistance, as needed. This position will require occasional overnight and evening travel for events.

 

Job Requirements

Required Education: High school diploma or GED, AND;

  • 12 months of office/clerical experience.

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions
  • General office skills such as phone, copying, faxing, filing and handling mail

Certifications:

  • None

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to engage in repetitive motion and communicate effectively
  • Standard office environment

Supervision: None

Department Preferences:

  • 18-36 months of office experience
  • Background in basic accounting is preferred
