Daily tasks include opening the Forum building and all rooms for events and closing/locking Forum at the end of the day. Setting up tables, chairs and rooms for events. Putting tables on carts and moving back and forth from storage in the basement. Preparing beverage orders. Taking out the trash and cleaning rooms. Must be able to work nights and weekends based on event schedules throughout the year.

Required Education:

High school diploma or GED

Skills required: 

Must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. Must be able to follow instructions and details for setting up and assisting events/conferences. Must demonstrate strong listening skills. Must be able to take constructive feedback and criticism. Ability to work independently and as a group with specific guidelines to perform routine tasks and problem solve when needed. Meets standards for workplace courtesy and respect. Respond in a positive manner to service requests and provide excellent customer service. Ability to lift objects (15-50 lbs.) including using the upper body to raise objects from a lower position to a higher position. Ability to walk and be on feet for extended amounts of time and go up and down stairs/ladders. Must be flexible and able to handle last minute changes.
