Job Description
Summary
The Baylor College of Medicine Human Genome Sequencing Center-Sedlazeck Lab is seeking to recruit a project intern to work with the Sedlazeck Team to work toward the development of computational methods to identify and characterize complex variations in the human genome.
Job Duties
- Performing sequence analyses on large genomic datasets of long-read.
- Mapping / Assembly, variant calling, interpretation/annotation.
- Research and assess third-party bioinformatics software, for utilization in projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
- No experience required.
