Job Description

Position Summary

• The student laboratory technician position involves preparing needed lab materials and equipment for use in the Summer 2023 Biomedical Exploration Workshop.
• This includes receiving and organizing incoming molecular biology kits and equipment, setting up/taking down student stations and materials for each lab, and preparing all solutions, organisms, and reagents necessary for 20 students.
• All applicants must be a graduate of the Biomedical Exploration Workshop AND currently enrolled at CSN (Spring 2023). The dates are Monday – Thursday, 8:30am-1:30pm, beginning on June 5th and ending July 14th.
• There will be a holiday on July 4th, and workers are welcome to attend the workshop’s final day presentations and lunch on July 15th.
• Workers will be compensated $2000 for the 120 hours completed over the 5 weeks.
