Overview |
THIS IS A TEMPORARY, LONG-TERM, HOURLY AS NEEDED POSITION WITHOUT PERMANENT STATUS. You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview. DEFINITION Provides a variety of support services for students at Mt. San Antonio College as a part of the Behavior and Wellness system of care; manages action plans to assist students with complex challenges and barriers to their success; focuses on case management in student support programs, including case management assessment, support, and linkage to needed services; participates in Behavior and Wellness case management meetings; conducts outreach to students on campus; provides mental health presentations, as needed; provides curriculum-based workshops and trainings (e.g., anger management), as needed; provides crisis management; assists in helping students enroll in Medi-Cal; may maintain a small caseload for brief psychotherapy (if licensed only); and documents and follows up to support students as they pursue individualized recommendations and/or interventions. CLASS CHARACTERISTICS This is a temporary Professional Expert position for a case manager, currently licensed by the state of California Board of Behavioral Sciences with the possibility but no guarantee for a long-term assignment. |

The person holding this position is required to be present on Mt. San Antonio College’s campus to perform all essential duties and responsibilities.
