Are you passionate about making a difference? Do you want to be part of a dynamic team helping to drive forward the success of the Leeds Institute of Textiles and Colour (LITAC) at the University of Leeds?   Are you an experienced communications professional with a passion for creating and delivering engaging and effective campaigns to facilitate stakeholder engagement?  Can you lead and deliver a strategic collaborative approach to communications to raise the profile and reputation of organisations and develop excellent working relationships and partnerships?  

You will join the Leeds Institute of Textiles and Colour (LITAC), a collaborative, multi-disciplinary research institute addressing global challenges in textile industries through research and innovation, as well as teaching. An experienced, self-motivated communicator, you will excel at developing effective communications and engagement campaigns and will work across multiple channels, including digital, to increase the impact and profile of the Institute’s activities. You will proactively develop and maintain excellent working relationships and partnerships, internally and externally, to support and develop communications that align with the Institute’s priorities.

The successful candidate will be pivotal in articulating and promoting the Institute’s strategy and activities to key audiences.  You will develop, manage and drive the Institute’s communications and engagement strategy, gaining high levels of engagement across the full range of the Institution’s activities.
