Qualifications:

ACCTG 607.01 Federal Income Taxation of Business Entities

Summer Quarter, 07/10/2023 – 09/16/2023. Meets in-person every other Saturday 7/15, 7/29, 8/12, 8/26, 9/9, 9/16 (Last two Saturday classes are back-to-back) 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM and online every Monday evening, 7/17 - 9/11, 7:00-9:00 PM.

Course Description:

This course examines the concepts and laws related to federal taxation of partnerships, C corporations, S corporations, and tax-exempt organizations. It is also designed to give students the tools and techniques to identify, understand, and evaluate tax planning opportunities. Oral and written communication skills are emphasized.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Master's or Ph.D. preferred in a relevant area of accounting discipline.

Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.

The salary range for this position is $7,447 -$10,008 dependent on qualifications.
