Qualifications:

OPS 649.01: Optimization
Summer Quarter 2023, 07/10/2023 - 09/16/2023, Class meets every Saturday, 7/15 – 9/16 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Moraga Campus

This course prepares students to address problems and opportunities in supply chain management and business process optimization. Students will learn how to translate business scenarios into mathematical models and how to use linear programming to identify optimal solutions. Topics include Process Analysis, Linear Programming, Integer Linear Programming, Queuing Models, Inventory Models, and Simulation. A programming language (AMPL) will be introduced in this course.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Master's or Ph.D. preferred in a relevant area of Management Science, Statistics or a closely related field.

Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.

The salary range for this position is $7,447 -$10,008 dependent on qualifications.
