ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Under the general supervision of the Director-RPC, this position is responsible for support to the Strategic Prevention Framework-Partnerships for Success within the Southwest Prevention Center.

DUTIES:

 Perform administrative duties in support of substance use prevention projects as assigned.

 Assist in the collection of data for reports and statistical research.

 Compile statistical data in Excel spreadsheets.

 Online outreach and promotion using social media under guidance from project staff.

 Participate at community and campus meetings, health events, festivals or activities.

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

 High School and/or some college work.

Bachelors degree preferred.

 

PREFERRED SKILLS

 Volunteer or paid experience in drug and alcohol prevention, public health, health field or social services

 Ability and skills to contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment with both members of the project and the department.

 Excellent planning and organizational skills

 

 ADDITIONAL NOTES:

 Must be able to complete a thorough employment and/or criminal history check. May be asked to work on evenings or weekends.
