Job Summary
Job Posting RefreshedThe Environmental Services Technician functions at a technical capacity and is responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks within an assigned work area.

Responsibilities
The job duties include but are not limited to:MAINTAIN, CLEAN & DISINFECT: Maintain, clean and disinfect lab floors, public restrooms, administrative areas, conference rooms, lounges, patient rooms and treatment areas according to procedure and established schedule; This includes mopping, sweeping, buffing, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, etc. as necessary several times a week or as otherwise directed by supervisorCHEMICAL/ BIOHARZADOUS SPILLS: Ensure that chemical/biohazardous spills are cleaned/disinfected in a timely manner according to proper proceduresPOLICIES & PROCEDURES: Maintain and ensure assigned equipment is kept in a clean and functional manner; Observe and report repairs to supervisor, follow established policies and procedures as well as dress code and attendance policiesOTHER DUTIES: Perform all other related duties/tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization or one year of experience in a similar position in a commercial, hospital or industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Extensive institutional cleaning experience. Valid State Driver's License.
