The University of Leeds is one of the top 135 universities in the world.  We have a truly global community, with more than 39,000 students from 170 different countries and over 9,000 staff of 100 different nationalities.  Established in 1904, we have a strong tradition of academic excellence, reflected in first-class student education, along with world-leading research that has a real impact around the globe.

The Learning Development Team is a centre of expertise on academic and information literacy skills development at UG and PGT levels. We work closely with academic staff to enhance students' learning and teaching experience.  Our team of Learning Advisors deliver support through blended learning including in-curriculum teaching, Skills@Library workshops, webinars and one-to-one sessions, and provide a range of e-learning resources that are available online and through the University’s virtual learning environment (VLE).

We are committed to working collaboratively with colleagues across the Library and the wider University, sharing best practice and providing a seamless service.

We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic applicants who are energised by working with students and helping them develop skills that enhance their academic performance at university and in their future career.
