Job Summary
Coordinate institutional compliance education programs and other departmental training initiatives.

Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and one plus years of experience with course or curriculum design, learning management systems, and/or managing training programs, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
What We Would Like You to Have – Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn Adobe, Articulate, e-Learning, KnowBe4, SCORM, and Maxient.
Ability to support and implement educational and training programs with effective presentation and facilitation skills and ability to adapt those skills to a variety of audiences.
Knowledge of or experience working with nondiscrimination laws and/or compliance regulations.
Experience with or ability to learn analytics dashboard software.
Experience managing, coordinating, and/or supporting a compliance functional area or a training management program, preferably in an institution of higher education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Compliance Training Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, and administration of UTD’s Compliance Education Programs as well as managing daily responsibilities for assigned departmental training initiatives.

Administer UTD’s General Compliance Education Programs, including Annual and New Hire, and any other new or existing institutional compliance training programs.
Manage, implement, and maintain course management platform(s) for delivery of training programs and tracking mechanisms for each training period, including collaboration with Information Security, Information Technology, Educational Technology Services, high-risk areas, and other partners; course content creation and design; identification and enrollment of employees; communication to enrollees and management; track completion rates, attendance, feedback, and technical concerns; maintain a repository of training materials; and report relevant data to management.
Provide instructional/program design expertise and technical assistance to high-risk area responsible persons for the development, delivery, and support of institutional and job-specific training courses as well as Institutional Compliance, Equity, and Title IX related programming.
Assist with presenting educational and informational training, develop marketing and communication awareness campaigns, and participate in outreach activities.
Coordinate and prepare relevant metrics for regular reporting to management and ad-hoc requests.
Analyze trends or patterns in institutional compliance program data; identify new process improvement opportunities; work with management to establish and maintain compliance procedures.
Keep abreast of policy and procedural changes that will affect the scope or practice of compliance education programs through meaningful and continuing engagement as well as professional development on accessible and inclusive practices and institutional risk and compliance management.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Work Schedule
Regular working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Work is primarily sedentary in nature and performed in a standard office environment.
Noise level is quiet to moderate.
Repetitive use of standard office equipment such as a computer/laptop (including keyboard, monitor, and mouse), printer, copier, calculator, telephone (or virtual equivalent).
Unexpected interruptions occur often, and stress level is moderate to high.
Frequent communicating in a variety of methods and working collaboratively with multiple departments as well as with individuals and groups.
Ability to be stationary in front of a computer for an extended period.
Regularly required to move about the office and travel moderate distances around campus to attend meetings and events.
