Summary

The Senior Coordinator, Business Operations provides Human Resources (HR) support that directly effects all areas in the Research Mission Support group including the Office of Research, Office of Clinical Research, Compliance and Assurance, Sponsored Programs, Center for Comparative Medicine, Advanced Technology Cores, and Research IT. This position will process HR related transactions and generate HR related reports and data requests.

Job Duties

  • Supports the development of HR reporting and data requests; assists in the generation and tracking of HR related metrics and reports.
  • Assists with the assignment and on-boarding of Faculty and Staff Researchers, Scientists, and external and affiliate stakeholders supporting the Research Mission.
  • Initiates and manages external and affiliate requests for Sponsored Guest Accounts that support research across the Mission.
  • Submits HR transactions and tracks progress through the approval process, as required.
  • Provides supplemental support on HR related programs, e.g., promotions, and performance timelines. 
  • Communicates with mission leaders on the status of HR related transactions, as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or HR Certification.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
