Job Summary
This position is designed to perform advanced administrative and technical work in support of the Cancer Care Delivery Research (CCDR) studies within our NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP). This person is needed to assist with CCDR implementation and will participate in planning, implementation, data collection, data entry oversight, and will be responsible for careful and exact documentation within the grant and institutional guidelines.

Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to: Coordinate and assist with all aspects of implementation of CCDR trials under the GA CaRes M/U NCORP Grant. Duties include but are not limited to screening for eligibility of potential research participants, consenting and accurately entering study data into case report forms (electronic and paper) according to study requirements, developing any new and needed seamless processes for all studies to be accurately implemented and to demonstrate leadership by providing guidance to the team members in a collaborative, professional, and effective manner. Coordinate data retrieval, respond to queries in a timely fashion including correcting data as directed by the sponsor, investigator, research operations manager, sponsor coordinators, and auditors. Develop CAPA plans when needed. Maintain protocols and associated documentation, ensuring regulatory integrity of each study/protocol/regulatory binder in accordance with federal and local regulations and AU Human Assurance guidelines. Prepare for local IRB and cooperative group audits. Attend staff training and research meetings. Participate in project planning and development of research protocols while insuring adherence to accepted scientific research principals. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field of study with a minimum of 3 years' experience managing projects of various sizes and complexity.

Preferred Qualifications
Project management experience in an academic or hospital/clinical setting;
Institutional knowledge or experience in higher education with the variety of types of projects that serve the educational, research, and service missions;
Project Management Professional certification (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM);
Experience with Waterfall project management methodology;
Experience in using Microsoft Project or another scheduling software;
Experience in human research setting, data entry, and collection.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, multi-tasking, organizational and verbal/written communication skills;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and other computer software/databases.
Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines despite often interruptions, maintain confidentiality, keep accurate records and make independent decisions

Shift/Salary/Benefits

Shift: Days; Monday - Friday (Work outside of normal business hours may be required)

Pay Grade: 17

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
