College/Department Information
The Medical College of Georgia is one of the nation's largest medical schools by class size, with 260 students per class. The educational experience is anchored by the main campus in Augusta, regional clinical campuses for third- and fourth-year students across the state and a second four-year campus in Athens in partnership with the University of Georgia. MCG's expanding partnerships with physicians and hospitals across Georgia currently provides about 350 sites where students can experience the full spectrum of medicine, from complex care hospitals to small-town solo practices. MCG and its teaching hospitals also provide postgraduate education to more than 500 residents and fellows in 50 different Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-approved programs. Our researchers and clinicians focus on what most impacts the health of Georgia's and America's children and adults, including cardiovascular biology and disease, cancer, neurosciences and behavioral sciences, public and preventive health, regenerative and reparative medicine, personalized medicine and genomics. Our physician faculty also share their expertise with physicians and patients at about 100 clinics and hospitals statewide.

Job Summary
Your responsibilities for this position will be dedicated 100% to MCG, with primary focus on Medical Education. This position will have primary responsibility for the management of several databases, including data entry, analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to: Ensuring Integrity of System
The information analyst will be primarily responsible for ensuring the integrity of system data and turning data into information through the use of various reporting tools. Mining Data from various sources
The information analyst will mine data from the various sources available and have the ability to understand
and manage database table structure, produce reports and respond to administrative data requests. Assisting Administrators
The information analyst will assist administrators in development of complex reports, may provide training to
users and will be expected to assist administrators in developing plans to modify the system to increase utility. Other Duties As Assigned
Perform other duties/projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a related IT field of study along with five to seven years of experience in database management (including setup, data entry, analysts, and reporting).

Preferred Qualifications
Enterprise-level applications and custom integration solutions implementation and design experience. Experience with business intelligence tools, data modeling, and data warehousing. Knowledge of higher education data and usage needs. Geographic Information System mapping skills desirable.

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days/M-F (work outside of the normal business hours will likely be required of an employee in an exempt level position)

Pay Grade: 15

Salary Minimum $38,913.00/Annually - $52,533/Annually

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
