The Department of Information Systems, Analytics and Supply Chain Management at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor for the Fall 2023 beginning September 6th, 2023. This position is to teach the following class:

  • MSD 205 (Business Statistics) meets every TTH 2:50PM-4:20 PM with a starting day of September 6th, 2023. 

MSD 205 Course Description:
 This course is designed to provide students with fundamental concepts, knowledge and tools from statistics that may be useful in one’s attempt to reach intelligent conclusions in real-world settings, particularly in business applications. The focus is on the normal random variable, sampling distributions, framework of estimation and hypothesis testing, as well as the one-way ANOVA and simple regression model.

Position Requirements

The successful candidate should possess a Master’s or advanced degree, and/or equivalent degree/credentials in Statistics, Management Sciences, Business Analytics, or related field. Demonstrated prior teaching experience in Statistics, Management Sciences, or Business Analytics, and related courses at either the undergraduate or graduate level is required. 

Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience

Strong industry experiences in relevant fields and/ or a PhD are a plus .
