Position Description:

The Department of Media Arts at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor of Sound Design for Film & TV for the Fall of 2023 beginning September 12th. This position is to teach FTV 241-TE1: Sound Design.

Demonstrated experience in aspects of sound design for film and television production and post-production: audio recording, mixing, sound editing, ADR, foley, etc.  Demonstrated experience in sound design for gaming and podcasting is also acceptable. The instructor is also expected to be proficient in industry-standard audio software (Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Adobe Audition, etc.).

Some experience teaching in higher education.
