The School of Art at Ball State University seeks part time instructors to teach AHS 100 Introduction to Art, a global art history survey that serves as a required class in the University’s core curriculum. Successful candidates may be hired to teach between one and three sections and this class operates in both online and in-person modalities. Course development support and pedagogical mentoring will be offered.

Job Function:
The School of Art at Ball State University seeks part time instructors to teach AHS 100 Introduction to Art, a global art history survey that serves as a required class in the University’s core curriculum. Successful candidates may be hired to teach between one and three sections and this class operates in both online and in-person modalities. Course development support and pedagogical mentoring will be offered.
Minimum Experience:
Master’s degree in art history (or related field, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in art history) from an accredited college or university completed by start of appointment. At least one semester of experience teaching at the college level.
Preferred Experience:
PhD or ABD in art history (or related field, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in art history) from an accredited college or university by start of appointment. More than one semester of experience teaching at the college level.
