Position Description
The Department of Media Arts at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor of Filmmaking for the Fall 2023 beginning September 6th. This position is to teach FTV 135 Filmmaking I.
Position Requirements
Must be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially with Adobe Premiere Pro. Proficient in basic camera operation and lighting techniques. Demonstrated ability to effectively teach students introductory filmmaking techniques and film theory. Some experience teaching in higher education.
Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience
BFA in Filmmaking and/or Television Production. At least 5 years of professional experience.
