The Department of Sociology & Criminal Justice at Rider University seeks adjunct instructors for Sociology & Criminal Justice for the Fall 2023 semester beginning September 6, 2023. This position is to teach introductory level courses, including the following courses: Introductory Sociology, Sociology of Families, and Introduction to Criminal Justice. Other courses may be available depending on the expertise

Successful applicants must possess a Master’s degree in Sociology, Criminal Justice, or relation fields.
Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and social justice
Demonstrated ability to use a course Learning Management System (LMS)
1+ years experience teaching

A terminal degree in the field
Experience teaching introductory courses in Sociology or Criminal Justice
Experience using Canvas LMS
