With little to no direction and using a broad level of skills and knowledge, provides advanced administrative support to assigned staff or faculty members. Operates independently in prioritizing own workload and that of others in determining how best to accomplish work objectives. Is proactive in identifying, following through, and resolving various issues. Participates in special projects, as required. Provides administrative support in the Dean’s office for absences due to illness or vacation. May provide support throughout the College of Arts and Sciences. 10-month position.

High School diploma or equivalent required with 4-6 years of related work experience preferred. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required. Working knowledge of standard office equipment is required. Computer proficiency is required with an emphasis on spreadsheet, and data management skills. Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently, prioritize and organize own work schedule, multi-task, and meet established deadlines. Excellent recordkeeping, and organization skills required.
