Description of Duties and Tasks
- Performs office duties in support of faculty, staff, and/or student efforts, including word processing, data entry, maintaining files, processing mail, and duplication.
- Gathers, compiles, and enters data, producing routine reports and documents.
- Produces handouts, fliers, newsletters, brochures, manuals, and other documents.
- Answers the telephone, routes calls, or takes messages; responds to and/or directs inquiries in person or on the telephone.
- Maintains tracking systems and logs.
- Operates office equipment such as copiers and fax machines.
Additional Job Specific Duties
Completes routine procedures and daily functions including ACCelerator checking-in, checking-out, organizing instructional resources, and opening/closing the ACCelerator facilities.
Monitors and troubleshoots problems with copiers, printers, and the ID system.
Inventories and maintains supplies. Picks up, sorts, and delivers mail.
Supports the services and departments of the ACCelerator.
Provides proactive student assistance.
Participates in special projects as needed.

- Two or more years of work related experience in customer service.
- Spanish speaking bilingual preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Work is routinely performed in a standard office or similar environment.
- Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
- Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds.
