Job Description

Summary

The Assistant Coordinator will assist in special events such as board meetings, academic council and other executive-level meetings. In addition, will be responsible for answering phone calls, ordering catering for luncheons, cleaning, and assisting in different projects. Lastly, this position will be shared by the executive leadership team if administrative assistance is needed.

Job Duties

  • Greets department visitors.
  • Provides telephone coverage, which includes answering phones, routing calls appropriately, and taking messages.
  • Sorts and distributes income and outgoing mail. Generates shipping labels as needed.
  • Generates and maintains filing system.
  • Orders supplies for the department.
  • Facilitates service calls for shared equipment.
  • May provide clerical and data entry assistance.
  • Event support and cleaning.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
