Qualifications:
ACCTG 602.01 Advanced Accounting Information Systems

Spring Quarter, 04/08/2023 – 06/15/2023

Meets in-person every other Saturdays on 4/13, 4/27, 5/11, 5/18, 6/8, 6/15 (Last two Saturday classes are back-to-back, 6/8, 6/15) 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM and online every Monday evening 7:00-9:00 PM.

The Advanced Accounting Information Systems course will focus on IT architecture components and the use of cloud-based models for IT infrastructure, platforms and services. In addition, the course will focus on the business processes they enable and controls over processing integrity. The course will also cover System availability and IT change management.

Qualifications:

Minimum: MBA in accounting, CPA, active practitioner.

Preferred: Ph.D. in accounting that meets the definition of scholarly academic per AACSB guidelines.

Must have recent experience teaching auditing and submitting student evaluations with application.
