The College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, (TAMU-CC) invites applications for a 9 month, full-time, tenure track faculty position of Nursing Practice at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to begin as early as fall 2024. Rank will be determined upon qualifications. The duties and responsibilities of this position include:

Teaching across the College of Nursing and Health Sciences curriculum.

Research and scholarly activities.

Providing service to the university, college, and community.

Contributing to ongoing program evaluation and improvement.

Required Qualifications:

An earned doctorate in Nursing from an accredited institution, or a doctorate in a related discipline from an accredited institution with an earned master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution

Demonstrated record of high-quality teaching

Established research/scholarly activity appropriate for appointment at the rank of Assistant. For appointment at the Associate Professor rank, a sustained record of research and extramural funding as indicated by recent publications and presentations at regional and national/international levels

Unrestricted RN or APRN licensure in Texas by the time of appointment

Preferred Qualifications:

Board certified FNP experience, including current clinical experiences

Experience with program coordination and curriculum development

Knowledge of innovative teaching approaches and the use of technology in instruction

Experience with online graduate programs

Experience with interprofessional collaborative education, scholarship, and/or practice
