Job Description
General Summary
This position is primarily responsible for the recruitment and evaluation of prospective students for the Executive MBA Program offered by Saunders College of Business. This person will manage recruitment events and work closely with the Assistant Director to develop an effective communication plan that is aligned with the overall marketing strategy and enrollment objectives of the EMBA Program.
Major Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of EMBA prospect management: recruit, engage, evaluate, and recommend candidates for the EMBA program.
Collaborate with EMBA and marketing staff as well as marketing and lead generation vendors to develop and implement a prospect communication plan and other required marketing collateral.
Manage all CRM activities related to the EMBA Program, including updating the CRM database with all prospect-related activities.
Provide analysis on marketing effectiveness and recommendations for improved lead generation and conversion, and report on essential recruitment / funnel metrics.
Manage the planning and execution of recruitment events such as information sessions, webinars, and “test drive” sessions, with the purpose of recruiting and retaining students.
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key personnel at various organizations for the purpose of student recruitment.
Make occasional presentations concerning the Executive MBA Program to candidates and interested organizations.
Collaborate with EMBA staff and Saunders alumni relations personnel to identify and implement recruiting opportunities for the EMBA Program.
Required Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruiting or sales, preferably in higher education required to perform the essential responsibilities of the job
Experience with CRM or other prospect tracking software solutions
Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
Must be able to effectively interact with prospective EMBA students, EMBA alumni, university faculty and administration, and key personnel at various organizations.
Must have strong presentation skills with a bias toward selling.
Must have experience with CRM or other prospect tracking software solutions.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as be an integral member of the EMBA staff.
Writing, listening, organizational, and time management skills are important.
Computer and Internet skills are also required.
