ORB 231.02, Managing & Leading Organizations
Spring Semester 2024, 02/05/2024 –05/25/2024. MWF 10:40 AM to 11:45 AM.
Moraga Campus
The study of what people do in organizations and how individuals, groups, and structure impact behavior within organizations, for the purpose of improving an organization's effectiveness. Topics include motivation, leadership, decision-making, power and influence, group and team dynamics, conflict resolution, organizational change, and managing across cultures.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Marketing Communication or a closely related field and a current publication record in the field
- Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.
Salary: $6,480 and $10,308 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU 1021, who have previously taught the course or BUSAD 131, available here.
