Summary

The Dan L Duncan Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) provides a learning environment at Baylor College of Medicine that integrates data from diverse domains including the electronic medical record, geospatial and social information and next generation technologies to support research, development and implementation of new approaches to patient care. The ICTR is currently seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support the Clinical Studies Core with new and ongoing clinical trials.

Job Duties

  • Collects study subject information for a clinical research study.
  • Enters research data into study database.
  • Maintains study subject files.
  • Schedules study subjects for tests and procedures specific to the research protocol.
  • Assists study subjects with navigation through the study process.
  • Orders and maintains supplies and equipment.
  • May collect vital signs or other biometric information.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience designing surveys for study participants.
  • Experience with REDCap.
