The Department of Performing Arts at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor of musical theatre dance for the thirteen-week spring semester. This position is to teach Beginning Jazz Dance I (1:10-2:40pm) and Advanced Jazz Dance I (2:50-4:20pm) on Rider’s Lawrenceville, NJ campus weekly, Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Tuesday, January 24th.

The ideal candidate will be an individual with innovative ideas about the teaching and practice of dance technique, as well as a commitment to interdisciplinary inquiry and entrepreneurial learning practices within the art of dance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in inclusive approaches in the area of musical theatre, jazz, and commercial dance techniques with specific attention to the training of future performers.
