• battery component synthesis and fabrication

• battery recycling and re-purposing

• modeling and simulation of battery materials and manufacturing processes

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to collaborate with faculty members across the college on the application of batteries to address challenges in energy storage and develop a nationally recognized research program in one or more of the areas listed above.  In addition, successful candidates will teach related courses, and mentor and guide students with an ethos of care and support.
