*$20,000 Sign on Bonus*

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document the care of critically ill medical and surgical adult patients.
  • Provide acute care per protocols.
  • Assist with special procedures.
  • Direct the care delivered by patient care partners and other health care team members in the department.
  • Collaborate with physicians to evaluate patient readiness for change in level of care.
  • Care for medical oncology, surgical oncology, and telemetry patients as necessary.
  • Recover MAC local patients when PACU is not open.
  • Must be able to work 3 12's, 7am - 7:30pm.

QUALIFICATIONS

Your qualifications should include:

  • 1-2 years of acute care (ICU) experience
  • Graduate of NLNAC or CCNE School of Nursing, and licensed in the state of practice
  • OCN Certification within 18 months of hire or 36 total CE in Oncology every Commission of Cancer cycle of three years with completion of 12 CE every year (Surgical Services exempt)
  • BLS certification must be maintained while in this position
  • ACLS upon hire or obtained by end of orientation period, and maintain while in position
  • Ultrasound guided IV insertion/Phlebotomy experiencepreferred.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $31.90 - $52.55 / hour
