Summary

Baylor College of Medicine's Supply Chain Services division is seeking a Lead Coordinator, Materials Management. The Lead Coordinator will lead the work of general services and shuttle services personnel and manage the general services work order tracking system while also overseeing the maintenance/safety issues of Supply Chain fleet vehicles.

Job Duties

  • Monitors the work of support personnel engaged in daily work assignments. 
  • Performs inspections of surplus property and makes recommendation for storage, disposal or re-distribution.
  • Confers with departmental personnel regarding event setup/department move requests and ensures policies and procedures are properly followed.
  • Plans and schedules inventory transfers between warehouse facilities.
  • Oversees the maintenance of warehouse equipment and assigned vehicles.
  • Develops and implements processes and policies to increase efficiency; proactively identifies process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Six years of relevant experience.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License; clean driving record; three years of driving history in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite.
