Summary

The laboratory of Dr. Mingshan Xue (https://www.bcm.edu/research/labs/mingshan-xue) in the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute (NRI) is seeking applicants for a Student Helper position. The Student will work in a multi-disciplinary team to study mouse models of neurodevelopmental disorders. The job duty focuses on analysis of EEG data from mouse models of epilepsy.

Job Duties

 

  • Identifies pathological events from the EEG data.
  • Classifies brain states based on EEG data.
  • Organizes, reports, and presents results

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
  • No experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and interested in biomedical research
