Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Plan and implement professional development activities and instructional materials
Conduct webinars and face-to-face workshops
Create and model use of instructional materials
Conduct classroom observations
Provide mentoring and coaching
Other professional development activities, as appropriate
Meet with UFLI team and school/district personnel to coordinate and plan, as needed
Weekly meetings with UFLI staff
Monthly meetings with school and district personnel
Assist in the collection and management of teacher and student progress monitoring data
Other duties as assigned
EXPECTED SALARY:
Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience planning and conducting literacy professional development
Experience coaching teachers in literacy
Familiarity and experience with UFLI Foundations
At least three years’ experience teaching in K-5 schools
Expertise in reading instruction and intervention
Familiarity and experience with evidence-based literacy interventions
