Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry (https://www.coastal.edu/chem/) invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor starting in Fall 2024 and lasting for one academic year. The successful candidate must be able to teach organic chemistry courses. Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or closely related fields. The Department of Chemistry is home to 120 undergraduate majors and two degrees: Biochemistry and Chemistry. As a department we focus on our commitment to student success and are seeking a proficient teacher who is dedicated to undergraduate teaching. The student experience is the Chemistry Department’s priority, and your responsibilities will focus on providing a rich academic experience to help facilitate student success
