Summary

TCH Pathology is seeking a Coordinator, Business Operations to provide administrative support to the Division Chief, faculty members and personnel within the Genomic Medicine Division by processing purchasing orders, managing travel, maintaining calendars, attending meetings, and composing correspondences. The coordinator works directly with The Chief and the support team staff members to receive training and learn how to prepare and process purchasing orders, manage a vast amount of domestic and international travel (working directly with BCM Operating Unit/Concur), submits expense reimbursement requests, coordinates meetings as well as provide meeting availability on the behalf of the Division Chief.

 

This position may offer the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule of one day at home.
 

Job Duties

  • Prepare and process purchasing orders.
  • Manage domestic and international travel in the travel management system (Concur).
  • Compose formal and informal correspondence including, but not limited to, creating and formatting presentations.
  • Calendar scheduling and maintenance.
  • Assist with timekeeping.
  • Submit expenses for reimbursement.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot shared department equipment.  Facilitate service calls as needed.
  • Provide additional support to faculty members as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
